Kress Country Terriers are bred and raised to produce exceptional quality
working Jack Russell Terriers - in the field, in the conformation ring, and most importantly...
in the home as loving companions. Kress Country is proud to have Naduah Nitro
and Briarpatch Winnie as my foundation terriers, both of whom have produced
numerous champions on every level.
With happy and healthy terriers in mind, only 1 or 2 litters are whelped each year to ensure
the utmost attention and care is provided to every terrier as they all live in my home and
are an important part of the family.
All of my terriers are registered with the Jack Russell Terrier Club of America,
are BAER and CERF tested.

2008 SPRING UPDATE
Life here at Kress Country has been filled with loving and watching my baby Lily grow, grow, grow! She is almost 9 months old and has caught up very well after being born 9 weeks premature. Lily loves her puppies -- they are her favorite playmates! I think I have the makings of a future child handler. I must add that my terriers have absolutely impressed me with how wonderful they are with her. Very respectful and gentle. Poor Winnie starts to howl when the baby is unsettled and crying, while Franny and Foolish hover around her trying to be motherly. At first I think they thought she was another puppy!
I placed Stamp in a wonderful home up in Massachusetts. Now he can be the center of attention and has three wonderful boys play with and two very caring parents. I couldn't be happier but I still miss him terribly. I am very lucky that they send me pictures and videos so I can see how happy he is.
Winnie is now retired and Foolish needed hip surgery so I will only be showing and hunting Franny this spring. This year it will be my turn to help all of my terrier friends as they have always been so generous in helping me all these years. Lily and I will be at many trials lending our good cheer and support!
Franny had a beautiful litter last spring. Foolish is here with me and her sister, Izzy is owned by Bill O'Brien and his daughter Megan (Iron Spring Jack Russells). She is living the good life and will be shown this year.

2007 FALL UPDATE
What a difference a year makes! There has been so much going on at Kress Country -- with a new litter last spring to the wonderful yet early arrival this summer of my daughter, Lily... to fabulous performances of many Kress Country terriers at this year's JRTCA Nationals. I couldn't be more proud... and exhausted... but I have been extremely delinquent in updating this website -- sooooo -- I am going to do my best to update this entire site.

2007 SPRING UPDATE
Since moving back from San Diego a year ago, the past year has been an eventful one
here at Kress Country. A few of my terriers now have the privilege of living with
some of my closest friends:
Naduah Nitro has been enjoying the (cold) country life up in Ludlow, Vermont with Kathe &
Alan Couch, Kress Country Gidget, Kress Country Buca (his son), Kress Country Fleurie
(his great granddaughter). He is semi-retired but you will still see him competing at the
terrier trials and in the field this year!
Kress Country Rebound (Rocket) went to stay temporarily with my good friend Lauren Bohs, but after just a short while Lauren asked if Rocket could become a permanent member of her terrier family. Rocket is enjoying being the queen alpha and living in New Jersey with Sows Ear Just Oz and Ivy Hill Just-N-Case. Lauren and Rocket are the dynamic duo at every trial. Although "retired" Rocket is winning pretty much every class and division she is entered in... at EVERY show. It is great to see Rocket get the chance to continue her successful career with Lauren. You go girls!
Kress Country Relentless (Rellie) has moved down to Florida with her new family and is enjoying her days in the sun hunting lizards and playing with her new big brother, Truman (a BIG Doberman). Gina Hodges, Rellie’s new mom, will be introducing Rellie to Agility. I can’t wait to go visit and see her excel at yet another talent.

Beyond the terriers… I have been enjoying fly fishing and shooting this past year, here and across the pond. Pictures will be posted soon in the “Beyond Terriers” page.
