BEYOND TERRIERS - 2006
BEYOND TERRIERS SUMMER 2007
"A BABY IS BORN"
Lily Brooke Kress was born on July 8, 2007 -- 9 weeks premature and weighing in at 3lbs 14oz and 16.5" She spent the first 5 weeks in the NICU at the hospital but came home on my birthday (the best birthday present I could have ever wished for)!
Lily is doing great -- she has sprouted two bottom teeth and is almost crawling but prefers to roll to get around! She is a very happy and social baby and will be my assistant at all the trials this year!

BEYOND TERRIERS - 2006
This past year has been shared with not only my terriers but I have been learning the art and enjoyment of fly fishing and field shooting.

 |
| Fall 2006 - This big daddy was caught in Long Ilsand Sound via kayak to our favorite (secret) sandbar. |

ON THE FLY
On the fly fishing front, my time is equally shared between fishing for stripers in Long Island Sound and wading local rivers for trout.
I even had the opportunity to fish for trout and northern pike while in England this past December.

A SPORTING TRADITION
Although I have been on field shoots in the past, I never was a shooter. On the same trip to England I was invited to attend a prestigious shoot at Sandringham, in Norfolk. I shot my first pheasant (and then about 6 more)!

The rest of the year I have been practicing and improving my technique with sporting clays.
I will keep you posted on my progress in both field and stream.
